Mary Elizabeth Coady, aged 76, passed away on Wednesday February 24, 2021, spending her last year at the Water's Edge Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Middletown, CT under the outstanding care of her health care providers. Mary was a long-time resident of Wallingford, CT and enjoyed her vocation as an elementary teacher in Orange, CT. She was an active member of her church parish and was a Eucharistic Minister at the Church of the Resurrection in Wallingford, CT. She also enjoyed using her graphic talents to design their weekly church bulletin. She was the Coady family historian who published the annual family photo calendar that was highly anticipated by family members. She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Helen Coady of West Hartford, CT and her brother Edward Coady Jr. of Dudley, MA. Her surviving family includes: Ellen Coady Quagliaroli of Branford, CT, Jim Coady of Manchester, VT, Kevin and Roxanne Coady of New Haven, CT, and Gerry Coady of Little Torch Key, FL. She is also survived by her nephews Michael Coady and family, Robert Coady and family, David Coady, Edward Coady, Benjamin Coady, and many Bohan family cousins in the US and Ireland.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday March 17 at St. Peter Claver Church in West Hartford at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in West Hartford. Proper social distancing guidelines will be observed.
