Lorraine, It is beyond our understanding why this happened, but God must have a greater plan for Mike. Maybe Heaven must be looking for someone to run their Union and God wanted the best. Mike will be missed by so many people but his legacy will live on in you and your boys. Find the strength in your friends and family to get through this most difficult of times. My heartfelt condolences to Mike's family. He helped me to be a better union steward, & was always there for us in the Branford post office.
Like me, he was a big Springsteen fan. Whenever I hear one of his songs, I'll remember Mike, & feel gratitude for having known & worked with him.
We fought the good fight together, & as he would surely agree--- the struggle continues........God bless.
