Dear Marie,Michael and Marc
I was so so sorry to hear about Mike passing. I know first hand how loved he was and how much love and adoration he had for his wife and family. He was such a gentle guy and I always admired the love he had for his mother who was someone I loved very much as well. I know how much you all will miss him but you´ll always have to great memories of him and you´ll always feel his love for you. I know he is reunited with his parents and in peace now and will rest in peace. God bless all of you
My Deepest Condolences

I first met Mike when we were 10 years old playing on St John Street in New Haven. Along with my twin brother, Frank, we began a 65 year friendship. Our parents also became friends and we enjoyed many good times together with the families. I still remember the award winning pancakes Mom Giannelli would cook for us at breakfast when Frank and I slept over. We will forever savor these great memories and the Guy associated with them, our lifelong Buddy, Mike Gianelli. May you rest in rest in peace.

Mike's passing is such a heartbreaking loss. He was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and friend to all. He cherished his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Lenny and Barbara, and cousins JoJo and Mike. I was proud to be his best man at his wedding, godfather to his son Michael Jr., and he was godfather to our special needs daughter Nikki, who adored him. I consider him my "brother." The many stories and adventures (some questionable) we shared over the years will always bring a smile to our faces. Mike was someone you could rely on to be there for you no matter what. He was a one of a kind true friend for over 68 years and he will be deeply missed. He wouldn't want you to be sad so celebrate the many memories and joy he brought to all our lives. He will always be a part of us and will be missed more than words can say. Although he is no longer by our side, he will forever be in our hearts. Till we meet again, may he rest in peace with the angels in heaven.
