Dear Marrone Family,
We are truly heartbroken and devastated by the loss of Mike. There will, forever, be a hole in our hearts and in our family.
We loved Mike as if he was our own. He was our third son, as well as being another brother to our kids. We will cherish the times we were blessed to be able to spend with him. He will always have a place in our hearts.
He was truly a special person. He was always so willing to help and would go out if his way to do so. What impressed us most, however, was the way he treated Cate. His love for her was so evident. He took care of her, he respected her and always put her first. He was always so supportive of her. We couldn´t have asked for a better person for our daughter/sister to share her life with.
Mike´s signature goodbye, when he was at our house, was always to say "Have your people, call my people." We are praying to "our people" in heaven to call "your people" in heaven to welcome him home.
We now have another angel in heaven to watch over us. We will love him and miss him forever.
We are here for your family if you ever need anything.

With love and prayers,
Trish, Kevin, Kris, Kevin, Dee & TJ Grogan

Mikey you were Uncle Joe’s favorite visitor to the Cape every summer. He talked about you constantly. I vividly remember him telling me about your first raw clam you ate. You provided my father light in a dark time. You will never be forgotten.

Dear Marrone Family,

We are so sorry and saddened to hear of your loss. We are close friends of his sister Jamie. Although we only met Mike at one of his nieces birthdays we know from stories from his sister Jamie that he was such an amazing loving person and uncle and would go out of his way to make sure his nieces had the most incredible gifts because he was so loving. I also know how close Jamie is to her brothers and this is such an unimaginable loss. We are thinking of you all nonstop and will always keep Mike in our hearts always. Jamie, Chris, Lyla, and Avery we will make sure to always keep Mike’s memory alive here in Plymouth and everywhere. We love you guys and are here for you always. Sending so much love

Dear Al, Karen, Al, Jamie, Billy, Cate, and your entire family. As neighbors we were lucky to know Michael from the day he was born. Luckier still we were to have a daughter the same age. Erin and Michael were playmates from the time they could walk. Michael´s presence on Robertson Drive will always be here as his dear buddy John´s is. Michael, you were selfless and had a peaceful aura. We love you all.

We got to know Mike from being members of Family Marina , Mike was a awesome kid , Cate and him were a Great young couple , that had a bright future together our hearts go out to Cate, both hard workers and good kids and very good with the young kids around the Marina, a kid like Mike only comes around once in a lifetime especially in todays age, he would take his shirt off to help anyone, So sorry to for you family´s loss , Not seeing him on his Bobcat when we all put the docks in and pull them out at the end of the season at our Marina is going to hurt inside and it will never be the same without him there, we knew we were in good hands when Mike was the one driving his Bobcat , so so for you family and Cate´s loss he is in our prayers and sending love and strength your way!

Dear Al, Karen, Cate, family and friends. Our condolences to all. We enjoyed Michael being a part of lives from the day we met him and he and Christopher became friends in preschool. He was always such a positive influence, so helpful and kind with that sweet smile of his. I can't tell you how many times I have said to others and to you, that Mike is the nicest person you will meet. We have appreciated all his help at the Marina and loved to see how happy he and Cate were together as they share times on the lake with each other and with their family and friends. Mike connected with everyone, both old and young. As he left on Sunday, some of the people he was with commented on what a great day he had, how much fun he had with kids and what a great person he is. I treasure that memory now. He will forever be a part of our family and the marina and missed by all. So blessed to have known him.
