Milton S. Ramos

RAMOS, MILTON S. Mr. Milton S. Ramos, 83, of Orange, beloved husband of Margot Beutel Ramos, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. He was the son of the late Peter and Regina Martinez Ramos. At the age of two, his family moved to CT from Cuba where he was born on September 18, 1927. He was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport and served with pride and honor in the US Navy during WWII. Prior to his retirement, Milton was a customer service manager for Winchester International and American Frozen Foods. Milton was a past president of the Orange Exchange Club and a member of the Mason Corinthian Lodge in Bridgeport. He was also a passionate member of Save Our Neighborhood (S.O.N.) in Orange for many years. In addition to his wife of 49 years, he is survived by his sister Lydia Johnson and husband James of Montgomery, AL, two nieces Lynn and Beth Johnson of Charlotte, NC, a nephew James C. Johnson, Jr. of Montgomery AL, a great nephew, Hunter Johnson and cousins John Ramos of Milford, Robert Ramos of Hodges, SC, Margen Ramos Gray of Tampa, FL, Angel Torres of W. New York, NJ and Guito Castro of Miami, FL. Friends and family may call on Saturday, October 30th from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford, immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Orange Center Cemetery, Orange, CT. A special thank you to the staff at the VA Hospital in West Haven for their loving and compassionate care of Milton.
