Muriel Corey Obituary
Muriel M. Corey, age 88, the wife of the late Harmon E. Corey, of Branford. She was born October 2, 1930 in Portland, Maine, daughter of the late Ralph and Marion Morong. Loving mother to Lisa Corey (Taso Tamtelen), Jay (Kary) Corey and Dana Corey (Joseph Mazzarella).
Also survived by 4 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and her sister Rae Doboga. She was predeceased by her brothers Gene and Brett Morong and her sister Nancy Morong.
She taught home economics at the Branford High School and worked 22 years for the Homemakers Thrift Shop.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Branford Hospice or Forgotten Felines, Inc. Services will be private.
