She was an avid volunteer, dedicating much time and energy to the Tolstoy Foundation Nursing Home, the Elk's Club Blood Drive and many other organizations. She was active in the church throughout her life, singing in the choir and organizing fundraising events, and in later years she enjoyed teaching Sunday School both in New Jersey and Connecticut. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Stephanie Faro Ruperto and her husband Frank of Madison and son Michael Faro and his wife Emily of New York City. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Annie, Frankie and Charlie Ruperto. A funeral service will be held at St. Alexis Orthodox Church in Clinton at 9am on October 6th followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Killingworth. Visiting hours will be held at the Swan Funeral Home in Madison on October 5th from 5 to 9 pm. Dear Nadine:
I am sorry that you have gone, but know that you are not far away and are still with us in so many ways. Thank you so much for everything you have done for so, so many people. I always thought of you as the Class Mom for the class of '90, but also know that you were certainly a surrogate mom to a heck of a lot more than 1600. There is clearly no doubt that your legacy will live on forever. I will always smile when I think of you. You have had a positive impact on so many people and I sincerely thank you for that. You left this world a much better place than you found it. Take care and know that we know you are watching and are enjoying the wonderful legacy not only of your wonderful family, but of the countless people you touched in so many ways. Thank you and rest in peace. God bless you. Love, Vic

Dearest Anne, Frankie, Charlie and your wonderful parents,
Your Gramma loved you dearly. She loved to come to school and watch all of your activities; she was proud of each of you. I know that you will miss her terribly, and yet she is busy sharing stories about you with Jesus. Your Grammie was a very brave and courageous woman. I loved her. I love and miss you all. Praying Christ's comfort... Mrs K
