Patricia M. Watson
Patricia Mayshak Watson, 88, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, at the Twin Maples Healthcare, Durham with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Watson. Patricia was born in Elmira, New York on November 15th, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Leo and Angeline Pronti Mayshak. She earned her bachelor's degree from Elmira College and worked as a substitute teacher for the North Haven School System. Patricia loved to make artificial flower arrangements and volunteered at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford. She was presented with the "Caregivers of the Year" award from the Alzheimer's Association. Mother of Brian S. Watson (Linda) and Jeffrey M. Watson (Liliya Garipova). Grandmother of Mathew Watson (Kelly), Christopher Watson (Joe Boyle) and Coral Watson. Great-grandmother of Reed and Liam Watson. Sister of Leon Mayshak (Fay) and Janice Bischoff.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to the Center Cemetery, Elm Street, North Haven on Monday morning, August 5th at 11:00 to attend a family graveside ceremony. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489. The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue have been entrusted with the arrangements. www.northhavenfuneral.com
