LAMBERT, RALPH Ralph Lambert of Hamden died peacefully May 25, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital-St. Raphael Campus. He was the husband of the late Marion D’Errico Lambert. Father of Vincent (Alison) Lambert. Brother of Donald Lambert. Also survived by his special nephew Edmund Swartz, his loving caregivers Dawn, Una and Marty and many nieces and nephews. Ralph was born in New Haven June 7, 1925 to the late James and Lena Pastore Lambert. He served his country with honor in the Navy aboard the USS Yosemite during WWII. After being honorably discharged he began a career as a foreman with the East Haven Public Works Dept. where he worked for 25 years until retiring in 1991. He enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods and loved the time he spent with the staff and residents at Whitney Manor. He also enjoyed the time he spent sitting poolside chatting with his friends at Charlton Hill. His funeral will leave the IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 11 Wooster Pl. Friday morning at 10:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 11. Burial with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
