Richard Daley
November 12, 1946 - April 9, 2024
Richard Daley, 77, passed away on April 9, 2024 with his wife, Agatha, sons Brian and Kevin, and devoted family members by his side. A resident of Clinton, Richard was born in New Haven on November 12, 1946 to Joseph and Regina Daley. Drafted right out of high school, he served in the US Army (E-5) at Fort Hood, Texas and overseas in South Korea. He worked in construction, Local 33 Heat and Frost Insulators, for most of his life, was an able craftsman and avid pool player. He was kind, generous and had a keen sense of humor. The family would like to thank Smilow Cancer Center, Guilford and New Haven, Westbrook Visiting Nurses Association and Hospice Care of Branford for their support, care and comfort. My deepest condolences to the Daley family. I worked with Ritchie years ago and he was always a man you could count on, he would always offer sage advice or just help you if you needed it. He will be missed.
