Richard J. Kulick Jr., 48, of East Haven passed away unexpectedly at home on September 4, 2022. He was born January 31, 1974 in New Haven to Richard Sr. and Harriett (Cease) Kulick. Richard is survived by his loving mother, Harriett Kulick of East Haven, uncle Maurice Cease and aunt Peggy Cease. He is also survived by his cousins, Lenore Cease-Berrios, Dawn Bruneau (Jonathan), Pamela Gershman (Ronald), Frances Polino, Kenneth Polino (Cindy) along with many family, friends, and cousins of the Turico, Kulick and Cease family including many dear family members from New York. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Richard Sr.; sister, Laura "Loki" Kulick; uncles, Arnold Cease and Jack Kulick; and an aunt, Belle Murray.
Richard attended East Haven Public Schools and graduated from Milford Academy in 1993. He attended Snow College in Utah and received his CDL license in Oklahoma City. Richard drove tractor trailers for numerous companies and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He later worked for the New Haven Register and was an avid Giants fan.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday (TODAY) September 11, 2022 from 3- 5 p.m. at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private at a later date.
