RICCITELLI, ROBERT ROSS Robert Ross Riccitelli, age 75, of Orange passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 in Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was born on September 2, 1939 in New Haven to the late Dr. Mariano and Marion Ross Riccitelli. He received his B.S. in English from Southern Connecticut State University, a M.S. in Education from the University of Bridgeport and a sixth year degree in administration and supervision from Southern Connecticut State University. Before retiring, he was employed by the New Haven Board of Education as a teacher/administrator. Robert will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, along with his love of traveling, reading, and talking with friends and people he met in everyday life. Robert is survived by his dedicated family, including the “love of his life” his wife of 53 years Joan Rooney Riccitelli, devoted daughter Tara M. Chizmadia and her husband William, devoted son Paul R. Riccitelli and his wife Audra all of Orange, and beloved grandchildren Ryan, Dylan, Christopher and Jenna Chizmadia. Calling hours are TODAY, Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 5 to 7pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 29th directly in Holy Infant Church in Orange at 10am. Interment will follow in Orange Center Cemetery.
