I worked with Bob when he ran Nemex, it was located above Rem Sales in East Granby. I jus learned of his passing, and wanted to say that my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Bob was a great man, compassionate , and caring! He will Be missed.

Nancy, Josh, Lisa and family,
Wow, Bob's service was a true testament to the kind of man that he was. To quote my dad, "He was one of the good guys". The outpouring of emotion and love for him was incredible. I walked away wondering how one lives a life that effects so many, so deeply (including his effect on my life). Much love to all. We are all richer for knowing and loving Bobby.

Dear Nancy,
I was so sad to hear of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful, bright guy with his heart in all the right places. What you may not know is that, for me, befriending Bob was a defining moment. When I entered Wexler's Day Camp some sixty years ago at the ripe old age of six, I was painfully shy and found it difficult to make friends; I was very lonley. Bob reached out to me and, through his warmth and self assured humanity, befriended me. I have never forgotten this and, sixty years later, I am still grateful to him. Please accept my condolences and know that Bob will live indelibly in my thoughts.
May the coming days bring you peace and strength.

I believe this is the same Bob Samuelson from Nutmeg Bakers Supply in New Haven/Beacon Falls in the 70s. I worked for Bob and Alan, I remember those years fondly, as they were the best working years of my life. They were family oriented and welcomed their employees into their own family celebrations. I'm sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to the Samuelson family.

Dear Nancy, Lisa and Josh,
We've been gone from the area for almost 12 years, but still feel connected and have the longest loving memories of you and Bobby and the whole family. Jimmy recalled that Bobby was a couple of years behind him in high school, so it's been a long time. Our memories are of all of us when we were young and our kids were just kids. We send you all our love and and hope that the support and caring you receive from friends and family bring you some comfort during this time.
