Rob, it saddens my heart to even be reading your obituary. There are so many memories. You have touched many lives in your short time here. May you now watch over all who loved you. Rest in peace, my brother. Love, Nancy Jo

American novelist Chuck Palahniuk once said, "We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will".
People cope with the loss of a loved one in many different ways. Personally, I choose the path of remembrance. I choose to celebrate all the memories I have of Uncle Bobby for those are what he created that will live forever...
From candid photo shoots down by the pond...to numerous hiking/mountain biking excursions...to that time Bobby and I decided to rock matching "Canadian Tuxedos"...all of which barely scratch the surface in terms of the everlasting memories will always share of Bobby.
I focus on the joy Bobby brought to my family on countless occasions and my hopes are that he is truly at peace. I have no doubt he's lounging in an adirondack chair, Sandy by his side, watching the sun set over blue waters.
Your nephew,
Brendan

Rob, it is with a great deal of sorrow that I must accept your passing when you still had so much work remaining on Earth. I am left to grieve for your kind, generous, giving soul. I have reflected publicly as well as privately on the many occasions that we shared such hearty laughs that they led to us wiping tears from our eyes that they produced. The times that I had the good fortune to bank in my memories will live forever. I can't fathom that you are truly gone, but I am certain that you are tending to your heavenly garden with your faithful pup Sandy lying comfortably by your side. I wish you peace and serenity in your new home., I find great solace knowing that I will join you one day in your garden. We have a lot of catching up to do. RIP my brother.
