Roberta Marie Davies, 75, of New Haven and formerly of Cheshire, passed away on October 20, 2024 at Chatham Place at Mary Wade. She was born July 2, 1949 in New Haven to the late Robert and Marguerite Patton Davies. She leaves her brother Raymond (Anne-Marie) Davies. Roberta also leaves many cousins. She enjoyed Sunday dinners at her cousin Anne Patton Brandt's home and celebrating holidays at her cousin Joe (June) Patton's home with their families.
Roberta lived in Cheshire most of her life where she enjoyed the support of a kind, generous, and welcoming community. Roberta volunteered at The Barn Sale in Hamden for many years. She was a proud blood donor. Roberta had meaningful friendships throughout her life, notably with Joani and Michelle.
Roberta's family would like to express our appreciation of the compassionate and thorough care provided by the Connecticut Hospice Home Care Department.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at which time her funeral procession will leave the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Church of St. Bernadette, 385 Townsend Ave., New Haven with Committal to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Hamden.
Donations may be made to CT Hospice Home Care Department, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405 in memory of Roberta Davies.

My Deepest Sympathy´s to Raymond and family after hearing of Roberta´s passing.
I was just mentioning her in a conversation with a dear friend on Sunday and sadly he called me just now with word of her passing. I knew Roberta quite well as a young man, and my vision of her will always be of that little Spitfire, she was a very special young lady that endured a lot in life but was one of God´s special children.
She´ll always be with me in memory.
