Rose Pertoso Obituary

Rose Marie Pertoso
Rose Marie Pertoso, age 79, of Derby, entered into rest on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in Derby on June 9, 1946, daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Mongillo) Pertoso and was a lifelong Derby resident. Rose Marie was a member of the Derby Board of Apportionment and Taxation, the WPCA and the Democratic Town Committee. She was an avid UCONN Women's Basketball fan and attended many Final Four. She also enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was survived by several cousins and many friends. Rose Marie was predeceased by her brother, Anthony "Scarpi" Pertoso. On Monday, friends may call at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM for her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church. Her burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may leave condolences at www.adzimafh.com .
