Rosemarie Fuchs Obituary
Rosemarie Delucia Fuchs of East Haven died peacefully on January 21, 2022 in Yale New Haven Hospital/St. Raphael Campus. The wife of the late Frank Fuchs, Rosemarie was born in New Haven on June 15, 1930 to the late Joseph and Susan Aiello Delucia. She worked in the book department of the Edward Malley Co. and subsequently in medical records at the Hospital of St. Raphael until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and collecting antiques and was an active parishioner of St. Clare Church until its closing. Rosemarie enjoyed the last year and a half of her life as a resident of the Hearth at Tuxis Pond in Madison. Mother of Donna (Sabet) Hashim and Kurt (Deborah Daddio) Fuchs. Sister of Carmela Palmieri, Grace Argento and the late Louise Esposito, Gloria Scafariello, George, Michael, and Joseph Delucia. Beloved grandmother of Eric, Peter, Noelle, Nyla and Isabelle Hashim and Cameron, Brenton and Garrett Fuchs.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange on Saturday February 5 at 9:30. Visitation will be held in the church from 9am until the time of service. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Masks are required for all services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Infant Church, Vine Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
