Samantha Marie Santino, 34 of East Haven, passed into Heavenly peace on August 27, 2022. She was the beautiful loving daughter of Linda Santino and Peter Santino. Beloved granddaughter of Felix and Rose DelGiudice, with whom she resided.
Sammie leaves behind her devastated family. Besides her parents, she leaves her sister Stephanie (Jimmy) Suraci; her nephew Jimmy who loved and adored Auntie Sammie; her brother Peter (Courtney) Santino; and nephews Jack, Noah and Cole Santino.
She leaves a large family which includes aunts and uncles, Ernest and Nancy DelGiudice, Theresa Vasso, Roxanne Voira, Lisa and Kenny Macdonald, Joseph and Tracy Santino, Donna and Sal Solimeno and Roberta Ferrucci. Special cousin to Nicolle, Michael, Johnny, Jackie, Mindy, Michelle, Matthew, Justin, Adam, Joseph, Erika, Brittany, Alexis, A.J, Artie, Jennifer, Matthew and Amanda.
Samantha was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Joseph and Marie Santino; and cousins Mark DelGiudice and Keanu Ferrucci.
Sammie loved her cat Jessica and her dog Tinkerbell. She was a true animal lover. Sam had a passion for interior decorating and Marilyn Monroe. Her energy was infectious. She would have everyone saying her catch phrases. Samantha brought laughter, light and fun whenever she walked in a room.
Above all, Samantha was a loving daughter, sister and granddaughter. She had the biggest heart. We will love you, miss you and mourn you forever Sammie. Your beautiful soul and spirit are free now. Please watch over us and help us to be strong. Rest in Peace. We love you.

Sam's family will receive visitors at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, 425 Main St., Friday, September 2, 2022 from 4pm-7pm, followed by a short service at 7pm.

I am so so very sorry to hear of her passing. She was one of the sweetest kids, she always made me feel as though I was family. Beautiful, respectful, smiling and just a very special young lady.
