ZIMMERMAN, SHERMAN Sherman Zimmerman, 87, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Madison, CT, died Feb 14 after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Charlotte Cohen Zimmerman. After the sale of the business he retired to Sarasota, Fl. Sherman was a founding member of Temple Beth Tikvah in Madison. He belonged to the Madison Country Club, the Madison Rotary Club and the Madison Jaycees. He was an avid golfer, bridge player and family historian. Sherman was devoted to his wife and family and enjoyed every minute spent with his family. In addition to his wife, Sherman is survived by his children Scott and Linda Curtis Zimmerman, James Zimmerman, Ric and Lynne Doran Zimmerman, Victor Alicea, Barry and Rachel Salovitz, Karen and Mike Cardinell, Sally Salovitz, Susan and Rick Hussey.
