Giannelli, Stephen W.
Stephen W. Giannelli 77, of Hamden, died April 17, at CT Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Linda Perciavalle Giannelli. Steve was born in New Haven, Sept. 30, 1940, the son of the late Salvatore and Antoinette Clemente Giannelli and resided in Hamden for most of his life. He graduated from Platt Inst. of Brooklyn NY and was an architect all his life. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War as Capt. in the Corps of Engineers, he enjoyed playing pool and played in the APA League. He also enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. Beside his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Gia McElroy (George) of Tracey, CA and Stephanie Macklin of Framingham, MA, three grandchildren and a cousin, Camille Wait of Guilford. A prayer service will be held Monday evening at 7:30 in the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H., 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Conn Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park will be privately held.
