STEPHEN J. KARLIN

KARLIN, STEPHEN J. Stephen J. Karlin, 74, of West Haven, Connecticut passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at The Connecticut Hospice, Branford, CT from Cancer. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Stephen was the son of William and Dorothy Karlin and Brother to Carol Grossman. Steve was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and an Energy professional, having worked for Amoco Oil, Petrol Plus and was the Sales Manager at East River Energy in Guilford, CT. Steve enjoyed music, travel, spending time with family, working with his friends, learning about technology and keeping up with his grandchildren. Steve is survived by his wife Laura “Lollie” Karlin of West Haven, CT, his son Scott Karlin and wife Dale Karlin, his daughter Adrianne Karlin Roth and her husband Eric Roth and Steve’s grandchildren, Jake Karlin, Rachel Roth, Jillian Roth and Nicole Karlin. Steve’s Family wishes to thank the Smilow Cancer Center, The Guilford House and The Connecticut Hospice for their exceptional care. Funeral Services were held at the New Montefiore Cemetery in Long Island, NY. The Robert E. Shure Funeral Home 543 George St, New haven, Ct. was in care of arrangements.
