Susan (Selitte) Dunlop, 57, of New Haven, passed away October 11, 2024 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born February 3, 1967 in New Haven to Louis and Susan (Parillo) Selitte of New Haven. Susan is survived by her loving parents; two devoted children, Patrick Dunlop of Hamden and Megan Dunlop (Ryan Pulsifer) of New Haven along with three granddaughters she adored, Elena, Brooklnn and Ryder Pulsifer. Susan is also survived by her siblings, Joseph Selitte of New Haven, Roseann Wilder of Wallingford and Nancy Johnson (Jeff) of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Shane Dunlop.
Susan was a loving, caring and strong woman. She loved being around her family and close friends. She enjoyed everything crafty and loved to make her family and friends keepsakes. She mostly enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. She always said "my greatest gifts are my kids and grandkids." She always made sure everyone was happy even if she wasn't. She was so selfless and always put everyone first. She will always be our sunshine.
Family will receive friends on Saturday October 19, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven CT. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to East Haven Animal Shelter, 183 Commerce Street, East Haven, CT 06512 or American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 in memory of Susan Dunlop. In honor of Susan and her favorite color, the family is requesting visitors to wear some sort of purple attire.
