Theodore M. Blanchard Jr.

BLANCHARD, THEODORE M. JR. Theodore M. Blanchard, Jr., 72, of East Haddam, CT passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown. He was the husband of Angelina Cofrancesco Blanchard. Born in Brentwood, New Hampshire on September 6, 1938; a son of the late Theodore M. Blanchard, Sr. and Ruth Hoyt Blanchard. Mr. Blanchard had worked as a Health and Safety Coordinator for Praxair Service Technology for 28 years until his retirement and had served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Father of James (Katharina) Blanchard of Hamden, Steven (Kimberly) Blanchard of East Haddam and Theodore M. (Anna) Blanchard III of Wallingford. Grandfather of Erik, Heidi, Joseph, Giovanni, David, Christopher and Julia Blanchard. Also survived by four brothers and four sisters. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the nurses and doctors at the Middlesex Hospital Hospice Unit and Home Care, especially Erin Quinones and Kelly Zercie, for the excellent care and comfort extended to Ted and his family. Funeral Services with Military Honors will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday afternoon at 3:00. Family and friends may call from 1:00 pm until time of services at 3:00 pm.
