Theresa E. LaMonaca Fasulo, 92, of New Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10th, 2025, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Fasulo. Theresa was born in New Haven on March 26th, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose Longobardi LaMonaca. She worked at Yale University for many years until her retirement. Theresa was a very compassionate individual, who cared for many over the years. She enjoyed baking, especially for the homeless. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, New Haven. Mother of Susan Fasulo-McPherson and her husband, James. Grandmother of Alexandria Horn and her husband, Kris, Danielle and Brooke McPherson. Great-Grandmother of Charlee Horn. Sister-in-law of Linda LaMonaca. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Theresa also leaves behind her good friend and live-In caregiver, Comfort. Predeceased by her siblings, Rose Ann Weyel, Marie Landisio, Frances Peccerillo, Salvatore LaMonaca, Jr. and Frank LaMonaca.
The visiting hour will be Thursday morning, Oct. 16th, from 8:30 to 9:30 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church/Blessed Michael McGivney Parish, New Haven, at 10:00 AM.
