Thomas MacGregor Obituary

Thomas MacGregor
November 15, 1943-March 17, 2025
Thomas Gilbert MacGregor (Tom), 81, of Clinton, Connecticut, entered into eternal life with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 17, 2025.
Born in Guilford, Connecticut, on November 15, 1943, Tom was the youngest child of the late Cecil MacGregor and Ethel Howarth MacGregor. After graduating from Guilford High School and Vinal Tech, he became a well-known figure in the community as the owner of B B Mac's Service Station. More than just a place for car repairs and fuel, his station was a gathering place where he shared the word of God and extended kindness to all who crossed his path.
Tom was known for his unwavering work ethic and generous spirit. He often opened his home to stranded travelers whose cars he had towed back to his service station. He and his family were also a cherished part of the Guilford Fair Parade, crafting award-winning floats that proudly featured his children-his greatest joy.
While Tom dedicated his weekdays to his business, his weekends were reserved for what mattered most: faith and family. Sundays were spent at church, followed by afternoons watching "his" Giants, Yankees, or UConn women's basketball. He loved playing football in the yard with his children or teaching them how to throw a fastball into a tire nailed to an old shed.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife of sixty years, Kathryn May MacGregor; his children Wendy MacGregor of Monroe, Scott MacGregor (Meg) of Madison, Deborah Rozanitis (Peter) of Clinton, and Robert MacGregor (Danielle) of Stafford Springs. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren-Christopher Brockett, Alicia Brockett, Rebecca Kohm, Lily Jaipet, Tucker MacGregor, Cooper MacGregor, Aveline MacGregor, and Corra MacGregor-as well as one great-grandchild, Tanner Bailey. He is also survived by his brothers Paul and Bill MacGregor and their wives, along with several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 on March 29 at Clinton Bible Fellowship, 70 E Main Street, Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors in Tom's memory at Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.

Part of my first men´s group. Special man, love him.
I feel full of hope that he is at peace with the One he loved so much and that back of his hurts no more. I think I´ll spend eternity with him and the One Who got us there. PTL
