Vincent John Cammarano passed suddenly but peacefully at his home in Newton, Massachusetts on August 29, 2023. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut on April 24, 1934 to his late parents, Edith (Quatrano) Cammarano and John Cammarano. He attended local schools and graduated from Hillhouse High School in 1952. He then matriculated to The College of the Holy Cross and after graduation was accepted and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. He established as dental practice in New Haven and ultimately removed his practice to Boston, Massachusetts. While practicing dentistry full-time he decided to study Law an interest that he was always passionate about. He enrolled at the Suffolk University Law School in Boston and while attending evening classes and practicing dentistry during the day he successfully graduated from law school and then passed the Massachusetts Bar. He then closed his dental practice and opened a very successful law practice until he retired several years ago.
He is predeceased by his sister Nancy Barbato and survived by his sister Elizabeth Ann Sharkey.
He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, Andrea Panullo, Linsley Barbato, Joseph Barbato, Edward Sharkey and John Sharkey. He served his country as an officer in the United States Air Force stationed in Germany following his graduation from dental school. Vinnie was a very good athlete and excelled in baseball and hockey in his younger years and was an accomplished skier throughout his entire life. Vinnie was an avid reader and could intelligently discuss all subjects current or historic, he was truly a renaissance man. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
