JoAnn M. "Keke" Williams

1943 - 2019

NEWTON - JoAnn M. "Keke" Williams, 75, of Newton died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at the Hackensack University Medical Center, in Hackensack.
Keke was born in Newton to the late Raymond P. Salza Sr. and Virginia (D'Annibale) Salza; she was a lifelong Newton resident. She worked as an administrator for the Sussex County Board of Elections for 25 years.
Keke was a loving mother and grandmother and her family was her first priority. She always made time to attend her grandchildren's sports events and other activities. Keke also enjoyed a good party, she loved music and dancing, and was an excellent cook. She recently joined the Ladies Auxiliary of Newton VFW Post 5360.
In addition to her parents, Keke was also predeceased by her husband, Eugene J. Williams; and her brothers, Raymond P. Salza Jr. and Joseph Salza. She is survived by her three children, Scott Williams and wife, Kimberly, Carla DiPasquale and husband, Anthony, and Michael Williams and Holli Sanzo; her six grandchildren, Alexis, Shayna, Amber, Anthony, Brett and Jordan; and two sisters-in-law, Betty and Barbara Salza.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, May 20, at the First Presbyterian Church of Newton, 54 High St., Newton. Floral arrangements may be delivered to the church.
