Marilyn Mackerley Obituary
She was born in Metuchen, and was a resident of Sparta since 1946. Marilyn was a 1948 graduate of Franklin High School and drove a school bus for the Sparta Board of Education during the 1970s.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Godfrey Mackerley, in 1994. Marilyn is survived by her loving children: Sandra, Kerry, Alan, and David. She is also survived by her sisters, Carol and Barbara; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday, Dec. 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Newton Cemetery Mausoleum.
