Robert E. Stank

SPARTA - Robert E. Stank, 66, of Sparta, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville.

Born in Dover, Bob had lived in Sparta for 40 years. He was a plastics engineer at Resco in Sparta for 10 years.

With Bob, family was his first love. Secondly, he was enormously proud of his business accomplishments, particularly his patents in the medical container industry. In earlier years, he loved fishing, hunting and sports.

Bob is predeceased by his father, John; mother, Helen; and brother, John. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his son, Robert M. Stank and his wife, Terri, of Byram; two grandsons, Robert W. and Michael; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Stank, of Whitehall, Pa.; a brother, William and his wife, Thelma, of Wharton; a sister, Ilene St. John and her husband, John, of Landing; as well as many loved nieces and nephews of the Stank and Holley families.

Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. with a funeral service at 4:30 p.m. at Quiqley Funeral Home, 68 N. Bergen St., Dover, NJ 07801. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice to benefit children, as Bob loved children.
