Walter McCloud Obituary

Walter S. McCloud
Hamburg - Walter S. McCloud, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. Born in Pequannock, to the late Clifton E. and Ruth (Whitehead) McCloud, Walter grew up in the Riverdale area before moving to Sussex County. He had been employed as an internet technician for SECTV in Sparta for 32 years and retired in July 2020. Besides his parents, Walter was predeceased by his brother, Clifton D. McCloud. He is survived by his wife, Walneta (Moore); his sons, Thomas McCloud of Iowa and David McCloud of Hawthorne; his daughters, Kimberly LaPlaca and Gennifer LaPlaca both of Franklin; his sister, Dale McCloud of Georgia; twelve grandchildren; and one great grandson. Private cremation services have been entrusted to the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.pinkelfuneralhome.com

My heart goes out to Walt's wife and family walt it's a wonderful man known him my whole life the local kids in Franklin used to call him Mr Nice Guy he would always give the local kids a dollar . He has done and been there for my family and I can never thank him enough for his kindness we were very blessed to have him in our lives he will never be forgotten and always in our hearts I hope you rest easy Walt we love you.. until we see you again
