William C. Nestor

WANTAGE - William C. Nestor, 65, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at his home.
Mr. Nestor was born in Franklin Nov. 18, 1942, the son of Edwin F. and Rosemary McEntee Nestor. He grew up in Franklin and had resided in Wantage since 1965. Mr. Nestor was the sole owner and CEO of Country Insurance Inc. of Wantage and Vernon. He served on the Community Advisory Board for Saint Clare's Hospital in Sussex for many years and was co-chairman of the Johnny Rizzo Memorial Golf Outing. Mr. Nestor donated his time to many community organizations and events over the years. He was a member of the first graduating class of Our Lady of The Lake High School in Sparta (presently Pope John XXIII High School) and was a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran.
Mr. Nestor is survived by his wife Lori Hendryx Nestor; sons Christopher Nestor and his wife, Jessie, of Wantage, Timothy Nestor of Wantage, Mark Chapman and his wife, Angelica, of Franklin and Michael Nestor of New York, N.Y.; brother Edwin F. Nestor Jr. of Orlando, Fla., sisters Margaret Howard and her husband, Bruce, of Elmwood Park and Barbara Parsons and her husband, James, of Lexington, Ky., five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at 10 a.m., at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, 75 Church St., Franklin. Interment of cremains will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Ogdensburg. Arrangements are by F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St., Franklin.
