April Dehuff Obituary

April Irene (Mann) Dehuff July 15, 1971 - May 14, 2024 April Irene (Mann) Dehuff, who was loved by all who knew her, passed away in her residence, in Chelan, Washington on May 14, 2024.

April graduated from Sultan High School in 1989. April served her country in the Army National Guard from August 1989 to August 1995 as a Medic. April completed a paramedic training program at Central Washington University in 1994, and the following year, completed an additional paramedic training program through the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center. April was hired by King County Medic One, where she worked as a paramedic for 24 years. While working as a paramedic, April was passionate about her career, and she made many long-lasting friendships with her colleagues.

April warmed the hearts of many with her warm, radiant smile and steadfast love and devotion to her family and friends. Before her training as a paramedic, April was a volunteer firefighter with the Index Fire Department and worked as an EMT at Valley General Hospital in Monroe. While working at Valley General Hospital, April met Patrick Dehuff, a paramedic who worked there too. April and Patrick became great friends, and as their friendship grew stronger over time, they fell in love. April married her best friend and the love of her life, Patrick Dehuff on August 3, 1996.

Patrick and April Dehuff built a loving home together in Easton, WA. April was a wonderful, and caring wife to Patrick and a loving mother to her stepson, Jerime, and her two children, Seneca and Alden. April always brought care and love into the lives of all those around her, and even now in her passing, she continues to bring that love and care through treasured memories, leaving an impact on all of the people she knew that is immeasurable.

April Dehuff is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Dehuff, her two children, Seneca and Alden Dehuff, her stepson, Jerime Dehuff, her parents James and Laurel Mann, and her sister, Jamie Jorgensen and family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chuck and Carol Green, and Henry and Lorena Mann, her father-in-law, Richard Dehuff, and her niece, Amanda Jo Criswell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in April's name to the Saint Jude Foundation.
