John Cappelletti Obituary
Stayton - John, 75, passed away surrounded by his family on September 22, 1947. He was born October 3, 1947 to Louis and Ethel Cappelletti in Ellensburgh, WA. John was raised in Cle Elum, WA. After receiving his bachelor's degree John worked in the Alaskan oil fields and Usibelli mine. In 2002 John married Cheryl McIver in Healy, Alaska. Friends and family referred to John as "Cappy". His hobbies included his love for hunting, fishing, mining and he was an ultimate sports fan. His lodge affiliations included both the Elks and the Moose lodge. John is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son Chris (Holly), and grand-daughters; Hailey, Riley, Chloe, Eliana and great grandson Mason. He is also survived by his daughter Monica Moloney Seifert (Mark), and his loving extended family. A celebration of life will be at a later date. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.

I attended junior high and high school in Cle Elum with Cappy. He was the friendliest, most outgoing person I've ever known. He made everyone laugh. He will be missed.

I always looked up to Cappy as a role model as a person and Athlete. He was a Great LineBacker and and I tried to play the Position the way he did when I was in High School and at Central Washington University. He always had the time to to talk with me and was amazing as an Ulumnist setting an example for a younger man. I will always look up to you Cappy and always remember you. Rest in Peace my Friend and Mentor. Dave Mataya
