Kathy (Bator) Baker September 28, 1951 - July 20, 2023 Kathy Ann (Bator) Baker passed away peacefully at home in Ketchikan July 20, 2023. Kathy was born in Ellensburg, WA on September 28, 1951.

Kathy graduated from Cle Elum High School in 1969. She moved to Seattle in 1970. She met Steve Baker while working at Sears. They were married April 18, 1981 and shortly after moved to Ketchikan, AK. Kathy worked for the Bon Marche from 1981-2001 until store closure. Shortly thereafter she worked at Inside Passage Tees until her retirement. Kathy enjoyed bowling on a league, hiking, walking, beach combing, fishing, camping and being with family and friends. Her hobbies included arts and crafts such as designing photo albums, clocks, basketry, and jewelry.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Verna Bator; brother-in-law, Terry Wallgren, mother-in-law Betty Baker, brother and sister-in-law Roy and Trish Hoover, and sister- in-law Carol Duncan.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Steve Baker; daughter Maria Baker; extended family Jeremy and Christina Weber, grandchildren Bella, Jayden, Kiara, and Chelsea Weber; sister Sharon Wallgren; brother, Andy Bator (Cathie); sister Christine Felicetty (Jim); brother Robert Bator (Tami); nephews Mike and Matt Felicetty; nieces Alisha and Hailey Bator; father-in-law Ed Baker; sisters-in-law Kay Kaufer (Mark) and Darla Baker-O'larick (Mike); nephew Jason Neumeister (Jami); niece Lexy Ashcraft (Aaron); nephews Rodney (Krista) and John (Deane) Duncan.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Laurel Hill Memorial Cemetery in Cle Elum. Reception to follow - details will be given at the service.
