Arthur Matlock Obituary

MATLOCK

Arthur Musashi Matlock, known to his friends as Art or Musashi was a musician and car enthusiast. Art died tragically on Nov.13 2013 at the age of 30. Art was a free spirit who did not live life by conventional boundaries. Art lived life following as many passions as his day could hold. He was a song writer and a lead guitarist for several local bands, while writing poetry in his spare moments. Art's talents were not limited to music though. He was an ace auto mechanic who could swap out engines in cars practically with his eyes closed. He was surrounded by his many friends who shared his passions for music and automobiles and their pursuit of both passions often intertwined and lasted long into the night at his father's farm in Butler, Kentucky. Art is survived by his father, Gary Stanleigh, his mother, Patricia Schreiber, his two children, Scarlett Mae and Aaron and his brother Jason Schreiber. The Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday 11-17-13 at the Cooper Funeral home in Alexandria, Kentucky. The burial will at 10:00AM Monday, 11-18-13 at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, Kentucky. Online condolences can be left for family at CooperFuneralHome.net

Its been seven years since you went to the other side of the rainbow. Not a day passes that I don't think of you and wonder what you would be up to. Someday I hope to be with you on the other side and hug you and tell you how much I've missed you. I pray we have more time then.
