Cincinnati - Billy J. Beloved husband of Norma (nee Hughett) Baird for 59 years. Loving father of Gretta (Rick) Blankenship, Mitzi (Dean) Hackworth, and Joey (Pam) Baird. Devoted papaw of Brad (Chelsea) Blankenship, Casey (Kathryn) Blankenship, Chris (Virginia) Hackworth, Brittney (Matt) Chandler, Andrew Hackworth, and Abbi Baird. Cherished papaw Bill of Brenna, Stella, Ada, Vivienne, Hunter, Mason, Porter, Parker, and Nolan. Dear brother of Christine Byrd and the late Dennis Baird and Betty Thompson. He was also preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Ella Mae Baird. Billy passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at age of 78. Visitation will held on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until time of service 7:00 p.m. at the Spring Grove Funeral Homes, 4389 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223, 513-853-1035. Interment Vine Street Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Paducah Avenue Baptist Church, Building Fund, 6859 Paducah Ave, Hamilton, OH 45011. www.springgrove.org.
