Brother Wanda~someone you would always remember if you ever had the good fortune to meet him. He is the persona of a talented artist, a generous and gifted teacher, with a serene soul of beautiful spirituality that he so naturally shared with all .
Thank you for all the artistic learning gifts and life lessons that you gave our son as his excellent Moeller art teacher.
May you now be blessed with eternal beauty and heavenly love.

My son Craig ('98) and I ('76) were blessed to be students of Brother.
I remember as a freshman, Brother teaching us watercolors. He taped the paper and then brushstroked water across the top of the paper, he then took colors and with a few brushstrokes he created an overcast October sky.
Sometimes when I am outside with someone on an overcast October day, I will point to the sky and say "that's a Wanda sky".
Thank you for teaching me to appreciate art
and for being a friend.

As one of the early graduates of Moeller it seemed as though Bro. Wanda was there from day one and remained for decades after my class had graduated.
As the art teacher at Moeller it is not an understatement to say that he was literally an institution at the school during his entire tenure. Bringing out the inner creativitiy of students as freshman and helping them maximize their skill set as seniors and beyond.
While I was not an art student or artist, but Bro. Wanda was a quiet friend to all the students. Decades latter when our paths would cross on occasion he always addressed me by name leaving me humbly impressed.
He was a credit to his faith, the religious order he devoted his live to-The Society of Mary, and Moeller High School as he lived a quiet life of devotion and service. All of us he touched were made richer by his presence and grateful for it.
