Colleen Bright Obituary

BRIGHT

CRESTVIEW HILLS- M. Colleen Collins Bright, 57, passed away Thursday August 17, 2017 at St Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. Colleen followed in her father's footsteps to serve as a councilwoman on the Crestview Hills City Council, was a member of the Pink Hat Society, a former board member for The Yearlings, Inc., a member of the Republican Women's Club, and was a Kentucky Colonel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Geraldine Collins, brother Carter Collins, and son Colton Bright. Survivors include her children Kyle Bright of Crestview Hills, Courtney Bright of Cincinnati, and Connor Bright of Crestview Hills. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd, at 11:00 a.m., in the mausoleum chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger KY. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, 3333 Burnet Ave, Cincinnati OH, 45229. Online condolences can be made at www.serenityfuneralcare.com

Sincere condolences on the loss of your mother, sister-in-law and friend. I met Colleen herself only briefly, but knew some of her children and her former husband's family. Her death at such a young age is so sad. May happy memories soon replace your loss. Sincerely, Jane May
