Daniel Trauth Obituary
Daniel G. Trauth, 62, of Ft. Thomas, passed away on Friday, December 30th surrounded by his loving family. He was a retired Co-owner of Trauth Dairy and a long time volunteer & trustee with Big Stef Inc. He enjoyed spending time on his house boat entertaining family and friends with his humorous stories and jokes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Constance Marie Trauth and parents, Albert & Rosemary (Konen) Trauth. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Rachel (Beau) Curry of Ft. Thomas; sons, Matthew (Amy) Trauth of Hebron & Daniel (Sabrina) Trauth of Bellevue; sister, Roberta (David) Albers of Walton; brothers, Stephen (Vickie) Trauth of Cold Spring, Andy (Marilyn) Trauth of Cold Spring, James (Sharon) Trauth of Ft. Thomas & Eric (Sara) Trauth of Independence and 4 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 11-1 p.m., Wednesday, January 4th at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 4th at St. Thomas Church, Ft. Thomas with the burial to follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas. Memorials are suggested to the Albert & Rosemary Trauth Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Newport Central Catholic High School, 13 Carothers Rd., Newport, KY 41071.
