Brittany Christine Dawn

Brittany Christine Dawn, age 39, born January 7, 1987, of Grant's Lick, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, Kentucky.

Brittany was preceded in death by her grandparents William and Corinne Hagedorn, her uncle, William Hagedorn Jr., and aunt, Joan Hagedorn.

She is survived by her parents Jeffrey and Mary Dawn, her brother Johnathan Dawn, and her grandparents Jack and Carol Dawn. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brittany was a devout member of Grant's Lick Baptist Church where she volunteered in children's church, preschool and the baby room for over 20 years.

She enjoyed the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden and loved animals in general. She was a kind and gentle soul who loved to laugh and had a special fondness for brightly colored clothes, butterflies, beading, painting, and other crafts.

Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. She was a proficient Scrabble player who was very hard to beat, and she often gave her opponent suggestions for better plays.

A visitation will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Grant's Lick Baptist Church, 941 CLay Ridge Ave., Alexandria, KY 41001. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 am at the church. Family will gather at St. Stephen Cemetery at 2:00 pm that same day for a mausoleum entombment.
