David Panko Obituary



PANKO

David B. "Dave", 80, of Ft. Wright, went to be with the Lord, December 6, 2013 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood. He was retired from the United Parcel Service after 40 years. Dave was a member of the St. Augustine Church, St. Augustine Pathfinders Club, Hilltoppers Social Club, and Ft. Wright Civic Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Grace (nee Smith) Panko; devoted father of David (Doris) Panko, Linda (Mike) Panko, Melissa (Mark) LeDonne, and Jeff (Norma) Panko; beloved grandfather of 13 grandchildren; great grandfather of 11, and 2 on the way. He is also survived by his brothers, James and John Panko, both of Florida. Friends may call from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 11, followed by the Catholic Blessing at 2:00 PM, all at the SWINDLER & CURRIN FUNERAL HOME, LATONIA. Interment following at Highland Cemetery. Memorials to American Heart Association, 240 Whittington Pkwy, Louisville, Ky. 40222.
