Jeremy Saunders Obituary
Jeremy John Saunders, age 39, died May the 29th at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit. He was a career firefighter with the Orlando International Airport Fire and Rescue in Orlando, FL . He was formerly a volunteer firefighter with Burlington Fire Department. Jeremy resided in Burlington, KY. Leaving behind his wife Noell, a son Preston and a daughter Shelby all of Burlington. His parents, many brothers, and a sister were also left behind. Visitation will be Thursday evening 5-8pm, June 1st at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Funeral Services will be Friday 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery. A Celebration of Jeremy's Life will follow at Burlington Fire Department. Memorial contributions may be made to Firefighters Extinguishing Cancer Foundation, PO Box 332, Burlington, KY 41005.

I was very sad to hear about Jeremy's passing. We graduated from the same high school ( Eldorado '96) and played on the football team. One of the fastest white guys Id ever seen. We also were in a car club together (Exclusive Dreams) and both worked at Broadachers swap meet here in Las Vegas. One of the good guys that has been taken from us far to soon. I lost touch with Jeremy shortly after graduation and probably hadnt seen him since. Funny where life takes us. Jeremy's looks to have been going great. Im very sorry this has happened to you bro. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Jeremy's family and friends. He's in your hands now lord. We ask that you hold him high and let him shine! I love you bro. Until we walk...

My heart truly goes out to you Noell for I know the pain of losing someone dear to your heart. You have two beautiful children who will always share a part of Jeremy with you from day to day. We all have wonderful memories of Jeremys beautiful life and he will never be forgotten may he rest in peace. Keeping the Saunders family in my thoughts.

To Noell, Preston and Shelby you will never know how grateful we are to you for allowing us to spend some of Jeremy's last day with us. This family has been through so much and this loss is so hard he was a true fighter. We hope you find some peace in knowing he is at peace no more good and bad days they are all behind him now. All of you are so strong the days ahead will be tough but after what you have been through know that he is resting peacefully now. We have been a part of this family for many years and for many more you are all in our prayers we love you guys more then you know.
