I've already have written here. It is fast coming close to a year. We continue to speak fondly of Dr Singerman. We miss you very much. Often we find ourselves laughing when recalling a memory. Truthfully if we didn't laugh we would cry realizing our loss. This must be a testament to how much we appreciated and loved Dr Joel.

As we all have experienced loss, our hearts reach out to his loved ones letting you know you are still remembered. We pray that your pain heals and transforms to knowing you have all been blessed in having this man who loved you all in your lives.

With amazing knowledge and understanding, he utilized his talents to bring wellness--of all populations-- to children. I pray for his family of whom spoke so lovingly. I pray for his team who reflect his kindness and patience. I give thanks to God for the gifts we have received from Dr. Singerman's life. May the legacy of his earnest care continue.

My family is deeply saddened to learn of Dr. Singerman's passing. He was our pediatrician for 14 years and my three girls thought the world of him. He made going to the doctor a good experience. He is the most kind and patient person I have ever met and pediatrics was truly his calling. Anyone who had the pleasure to meet him was better for it. He will truly be missed by so many.

Our family is greatly saddened to learn of Dr Singermans passing today, as a letter was just mailed to us. He cared for my son for 14 years and he was so encouraging and calm and helpful with all my sons needs. The first word that comes to mind is kind when I think of DrSingerman. Prayers to his family as he has left us all way too soon.

My family is devastated to learn today that Dr. Joel passed away. He was our kids' primary physician since their birth (11 years). Dr. Joel was a great man and an even better doctor. He touched the hearts of all who knew him. My kids loved going to see him (even if it meant getting shots). His bedside manner was like no other. I wish I would have known about his passing in December because my family would have attended his funeral. It is sad that he never got to enjoy his upcoming retirement and family trip in 2018 to see his wife, Jan's, family out of the country, which he was so looking forward to. We are deeply saddened and sorry for his friends and family. We will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Dr. Joel, Rest in peace! You will be greatly missed.

I had the honor of being a pediatrics resident under Joel from 2008-2010. I learned so much beyond what a textbook teaches you from him. It has been some time since I left, but I have been thinking how the times in clinic with him. When I graduated from his clinic, he gave me a book with the inscription "Never forget to get down on the floor to play". I think this encapsulated his view of caring for every child at their level. He was a wonderful physician and friend, and I am grateful to him always. My thoughts are with your family.

I have wonderful memories of his gentle kind care of my kids through the years at Springdale-Mason Pediatrics. The kids loved his tongue-depressor-people! He went above and beyond in caring for my son as a newborn with a heart situation. And his empathy meant so much to me! I will always be greatful! In recent years, I was touched by his telling me about getting back into running, with his adult kid(s). So sweet. What a generous soul, who emparted grace upon all. He will be missed. But he will also be always remembered with gratitude for his life giving legacy.

May God cover you in his comfort, love and support
at this heartbreaking time.

I first met Joel when Jan and I were training to be child and adolescent psychiatrists together.
He later took care of my twins from birth into their college years. So I had the fortune of knowing him
for a long time, professionally and socially.

He displayed a rare combination of humor, humility, warmth and intellect that was a comfort and support to me as a mother and psychiatrist.
I am grateful that young men, including my own, were able to be provided with the example of a true mensch..

Thank you Dr Singerman. God bless you

Dr. Joel was always a kind and compassionate Pediatrician. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years at The Christ Hospital Special Care Nursery. It was comforting to hear him talk with scared parents and take the time to answer all their questions, assure them and genuinely care about them. He will be missed. RIP Joel.

Joel was in my class in the Vermont College MFA in Writing for Children program some 14 years ago. I knew him as a talented writer, a funny and sweet classmate who had an effective way of resolving interpersonal conflicts. We had lost touch for some years but reconnected via Facebook. If i feel his loss so deeply, i can only imagine what the medical community, his patients, and family are experiencing. Wishing you all shalom--peace and completeness-- and the healing power of memories.

My heart is breaking. He has been caring for my children for over 14 years. We have grown to love him. He always made smiley faces on the tongue depressers as we left. One for everybody. We had hoped to stop in and say hi before his retirement. Heartfelt sympathies to his family and all those he impacted with his kindness and love.

What a shocking and tragic loss to this world. Dr Joel Singerman, a quintessential pediatrician whose kind and gentle manner, endless patience, humor and wisdom were ever present in all of our interactions with him over the years. He had a way of letting you and your child know that every detail mattered, that you were important to him. What an incredible person he was, and how significantly we will miss him. If his patients feel this way, I can't even begin to imagine the personal loss to his family. We share your feeling of loss, and hope that, in some small way, it comforts you to know how much Dr Singerman was loved, admired and respected.
May his memory be blessed. Deborah, Amit and Bernard Netanel

My deepest sympathy to the Singerman family. I pray that your many memories will help heal your hearts.
When I think of Dr Singerman I will always remember his commitment to his patients and their families. He took his time with them, there never was a time I saw him rush in and out of a room.
One of my fondest memories is when I would ask him a question at work and he would quietly stand there not saying a word for what seemed like and eternity! Finally I would have to break the silence and ask, "Did you hear what I said?" He would say "I am just thinking about which answer I am going to give you." I will miss you Dr Joel. Rest in peace.
