Cincinnati - Joseph E. Ionna, beloved husband of the late Rodie (née Sweeney), devoted father of Jessica (Ed) Phipps, Joe (Seema) Ionna, Maureen (John) Gallagher, and Kate (Greg Johnson) Ionna, loving grandfather of Jack and Joey Gallagher and Maya and Lilly Ionna. Dear brother-in-law, beloved uncle, and wonderful friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Livia Ionna, and his dear sisters, Del Martinelli, Bea Hill, and Angie Iacobucci. Died Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 at the age of 85. Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Rd, on December 16th, 2020, at 10:30 AM. Internment in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Rita School for the Deaf, 1720 Glendale Milford Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45215. So many great memories with you all and your parents. Loved when your Dad shared stories of his love and fun with his big sisters, especially my mom, at the house in Price Hill. He will be missed.
