WEISS

Joyce Kreinest, 64, of Gainesville, FL a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012, in Gainesville. She was born in Covington, KY, and lived there and in Elsmere, KY for 21 years. She graduated from St Henry High School in 1965. Joyce was the Office Manager for Rush and Glassman attorneys in Gainesville. She graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Fine Arts, was an artist and sculptor, and loved to play tennis. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Kreinest. Joyce is survived by her loving family; husband Mike Weiss, sons Jason (Renee) Weiss and Sam (Kristin) Weiss, grandchildren Landon, Marley, and Ashley, her mother Theresa Kreinest, sister Rose Ann (Stanley) Burch, sister in law Stacey Weiss-Kaplan, and nieces and nephews Chrissi (Michael) Hatfield, Connie and Brian Burch, Max Armstrong, Charlie and Katie Hatfield, and Nathan and Kyle Burch. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Haven Hospice of Gainesville or Lakota Indian Foundation, P.O. Box 340, Kyle, SD 57752. Arrangements entrusted to MILAM FUNERAL HOME, 311 South Main St. in Gainesville, FL. 32601 (352) 376-5361.
