Judith Sarakatsannis Obituary
Fort Thomas - Judith M. Sarakatsannis, 73, of Southgate, passed away on March 29, 2021 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Judith taught Art for over 20 years with the N. KY School Systems. Judith was a Graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, The University of Kentucky and Northern Kentucky University. Judith was preceded in death by her husband Chris N. Sarakatsannis, her parents Thomas and Virginia Huber and her aunt Dorothy Herrick. Judith is survived by her brother Thomas N. Huber, her sister, Jeanne Ferguson (David), her niece Virginia Ferguson Cheatham (Bill), her great nieces Chloe and Claire Cheatham, and her step-children Willliam Christopher Sarakatsannis, Jenny Sarakatsannis Hallman and Stephanie Sarakatsannis. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Holy Spirit Church in Newport, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Judith's family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses and support staff of Christ Hospital for the excellent care given to Judith. Judith's family would also like to thank her dear friends who provided care and comfort during her illness. Burial will take place in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Louisville Memorials are suggested to the Hosea House 901York St. Newport, Ky 41071 or Mentoring Plus 801York St. Newport, KY or Holy Spirit Church 825 Washington Ave. Newport, KY 41071.
