Larry Joseph "Joe", 55, of Burlington, Ky., husband of 34 years to Diane Holmes (Pulliam). He passed away December 28th in their home. Joe was born June 12th, 1958 to the late Harold Kenneth "HK" Holmes and Mary Lou Holmes (Stidham) of Ashland, Ky. He was preceded in death by Brother; Kenneth Michael "Mikey" Holmes, and a Sister; Lisa Ward (Holmes). Survivors, in addition to his wife include Daughters; Erin Shay Workman (Holmes), and Emilie Jean Holmes, Son in Law; Jason Michael Workman, and Grandchildren; Joseph "Joey" Tyler Workman, and Jake Kenneth Workman. As well as several other close family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Don Catchen & Son Funeral Homes, Elsmere. I was so so sad to hear the news about Joey. He was such a great guy and I always enjoyed being around him. He was one of those people that could put a smile on your face whether you were with him or just thinking about him. He was truly a special person and I am blessed to have known him. Diane, I can't even imagine the pain and the sadness you must be feeling. My heart aches for you and your family. I will pray that God will bring you the peace, comfort and courage that it will take to get you thru today and the days ahead of you and that He can help to heal your broken heart.
