Leslie R. "Jake" Jacobs, age 85. Passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at his (Richwood) Walton, KY farm. Navy Veteran. Retired 1982 after 40 years of service as a Lineman Foreman for ULH&P/Duke Energy. After retirement; established, Jacobs Management Co., owner/operator of several apartment and rental properties. His pride and joy-Corner Stone Farm, Richwood, KY (known for race and saddlebred horses). Christian by faith. Member of: Boone-Union Lodge #304 F&AM (Past Master); Valley of Cincinnati Scottish Rite 32 degree; Boone County Business Men's Association (Founder and Past President). Enjoyed his: Harley bike; traveling all around the world; ocean and beaches.the sunshine and working on his farm. . SERVICE of CELEBRATION 11:00AM Wednesday, March 18th Allison & Rose Funeral Home, 5645 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY. MASONIC SERVICE 7:45PM Tuesday at the funeral home. VISITATION 4 until 7:45PM Tuesday, March 17th at the funeral home. MILTARY HONORS and INTERMENT Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY. MEMORIALS, in lieu of flowers, may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn St. #1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203. Preceded in death by his: parents-Tona and Margaret Riggs Jacobs; sister-Betty Moore and brother-Jackie Jacobs. Surviving are his: beloved wife of 34 years-Peggy Davis Jacobs; daughters-Shauna (David) Zerhusen, Ryland Hgts.,KY, Leslie (Eric) Lovelace, Richwood, KY; sons- Gerhardt (Joan) Jacobs, Lincoln, Neb., Mark (Ann) Jacobs, Atlanta, GA; step daughter- Jennifer (Jason) Hitch, Union, KY; 9-grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother-Toddy (Geneva) Jacobs, Sparta, KY and caregiver-Stephanie (Shebby) Chadwell, Richwood, KY. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. This was a surprise to me,and I sorry I didn't make it,didnt findout til after the fact.He was aspecialperson,spent a lot of my time as a child at the farm with him and his family.I grew up around all of you.Never will forget our good time at the race park,the pool,the lake,at new kids on the block,and many more experiences that we shared as families.I will see you again someday.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Jakes family and friends. Jakes was a super nice guy. Worked under Jake for years as a linemen in Hartwell. So many great memories of our years working together and I might say a lot of laughs.
