Matthew Rider Obituary
RIDER
Matthew David "Matt" Rider, age 34, of Piner, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was a 2001 graduate of Simon Kenton High School and attended Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Independence. Matt enjoyed many things including, music, playing the piano, movies, traveling, playing with his nephews, attending New Perceptions and Aspen Community Living as well as outings with his special friends, his dog Archie, and eating his favorite food, pizza. He is survived by his parents Don and Mariann (nee Crea) of Piner; sisters Lindsay (Dwight) Wood of Independence and Meghan (Mike) McDonald, also of Independence; nephews Isaiah, Ian, and Owen and one niece Reagan. Matt also had many other loving family and friends. Visitation is going to be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 10AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 1PM, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 11969 Taylor Mill Rd, Independence, KY 41051. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to New Perceptions, Inc., 1 Sperti Drive Edgewood, KY 41017 or to the Aspen Community Living, 7111 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042.
