Maureen Stroer Obituary
Ft. Wright - Maureen Stroer, 64, of Ft. Wright, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family and 8 beautiful grandchildren. Maureen was a retired clerk with Duke Energy. She truly loved serving her community, acting as the secretary and member of the Board of Directors for both the Ft. Wright Civic Club and VFW Post 6095 in Latonia. She was also a past member of the Board of Directors for the Bluegrass Swim Club as well as a current member of the Sunday Luncheon, which feeds the homeless in our community. Survivors include her devoted husband of 40 years, Bob Stroer of Ft. Wright; daughters, Stacia Stroer of Taylor Mill, Beth (Michael) Bauscher of Ft. Wright, Mindy (Jeremy) Timmerding of Ft. Wright; brother, Michael Mackin of Villa Hills and 8 grandchildren. Visitation is on Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the hour of Memorial Service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Sunday Luncheon, made payable to Edna Hon, c/o Ft Wright Civic Club,115 Kennedy Road, Ft.
